Amateur Radio Courses to Begin Early 2011 From: Joel AB1MH Hello all, It seems to be that time again, I have been approached to teach another Ham radio class. This class would be one of two formats: 10 sessions 7PM to 9PM (2 per week) for 5 weeks OR 4 sessions consisting of two weekends. The first weekend being 8 hours of class Saturday and Sunday. The second weekend being 8 hours of class Saturday and Sunday a Review Session. If I can coordinate with the VE (testing) Team, immediately following the review and some lunch, there would be an open exam session. Dates will depend on the VE team and Building schedule. I am looking at are February/March timeframe. You can email me at ab1mh@arrl.net to sign up. Let me know the Class(es) of License that you want to train for. If there is enough interest I will then set a time and place. Cost: $35 - Includes exam fee**, Project material, Demos, snacks, and beverages (text book not included, but may be easily purchased on-line at arrl.org). **Exam fee is for scheduled exam session and is not refundalbe. Exam given by NoBARC VE Team and is not given by instructors.
