NoBARC has the distinction of having been named a "Special Service Club" by the ARRL. This is due to the many hours of Public Service that have been and continue to be given by our club members year after year. These services include, but are not limited to: National Traffic System Nets, Search and Rescue, National Weather Service SKYWARN Nets, Motor Vehicle Accident/Stranded Motorist Reporting, Parade/Race/Walkathon Communications, ARES/RACES Communications, Emergency/Disaster Drills and other communications needs that are solicited by the community. We are proud to be able to offer these services when called upon. |

ANY amateur operator that utilizes NoBARC repeaters to perform ANY public service communications (stranded motorist/accident reporting, coordination of a public service event) is asked to please submit a NoBARC Public Service Report. It's a very quick and simple process. Just click the button below and fill out the form. All inputs are included in our yearly report that helps to justify our existence to the Local and State Authorities.
